2000 dodge ram 1500 quad cab rear door problem

From : jamielouise

Q: hi everyone. my husband is having a problem opening the rear door on his truck. the bottom latch will not disengage so the door will not open. he removed the inside door panel checked the rod that goes down to the lever arm. everything looks ok but the door wont open.he says that he thinks its something to do with the bottom latch mechanism which is mounted to the under side of the door but sice he cant open the door he cant get to it. he unbolted the screws that hold the latch mechanism to the underside of the door but since the door will not open there is no way to remove the screws completly.he previously had the same problm a few years ago when the truck was still under warranty and the dealer fixed it. it is no longer under warranty. is there a way to open the rear door so that he can get to the bottom latch mechanism thats is mounted to the underside of the rear door to fix or replace it thanks for your help. iirc this topic has been discussed a couple of years ago. i dont have the answer and if you dont get one you might try google it has to be there. roy .

i got a fel-pro intake manifold gasket set part #ms 95392-1 for my 1998 5.9 liter dodge 4x4. the plenum is leaking oil into the manifold. my haynes repair manual tells me the intake gaskets should be marked left & right they are not. does the smooth side of the gasket go toward the cylinder also it says to put a light coat of rtv sealant on the cylinder head side of the intake before installing the gaskets. as these are the composite gaskets i believe they are impregnated with silicone which makes me think i shouldnt need to use rtv. they have a blue slick coating over the metal center of the gaskets. i have not started tearing it down yet but would like to get this done tomorrow 9-25-06. any help would be greatly appreciated. .

kenseth pushed his luck like he did at the earlier dover race but it did not play out this time. at lest gordon and johnson arent in victory lane! at 80 laps kenseth crew told him fuel wasnt a issue. he shoulda pited earlier anyway. gordon and johnson do seem to be on their ass a bit. like him or hate gordon does drive his ass off. cnat stand him or the hendricks motorsports crew. i am a dei and rcr fan thru and thru! though there are a few drivers from other teams that i like and follow. me either but ya cant take it away from him as a driver. ive followed kenseth for years back to a arca race i think. like his style most of the time you dont know hes on the track. roy ill agree with you but only to a point. i dont think that he would have the career and the sucess he has now if he had started with a different team. not saying that he would have been a failure or anything. hendrick sure gives him the equipment to do it. yup sure does. wait should i have disgreed with you bg not until later in the week.g have you taken a look at the seattle ny murder seattle has them down about 30 nothing at the 1/2. nah wife is watching the az/stl game as she likes stl as a whole and kurt warner from az. how bout those bengals.... ole roy is gonna be dreaden next week when his pats get another loss... well see who jumps on whose wagon.... denny .
