i will look under the air cleaner thanks hey glenn what is the relay labeled blower motor i swapped the lighter and blower relays to see what happens they appeared to be the same type of relay. i am not sure if blower motor refers to the ac/heater blower motor or the radiator fans. any help would be appreciated. thanks johnb read my reply. the relay isnt in the pdc its on the frame rail you can swap all the relays you want it wont help the fan if the relay is bad. have you removed the air cleaner to see it yet whenever it rains my grand caravan radiator fans continue to run after i turn off the engine. it will run until the battery is dead. it never happens when it is not raining. temperature doesnt appear to have anything to do with it it has been very cold here in texas lately. whenever it rains we have the problem. i am thinking that it is a flacky sensor anybody know where to locate the temperature sensor that causes the radiator fans to spin i have been told by my machanic that whenever the voltage drops below a certain level that the relays can stick causing this issue. sure enough when it had the problem last i replaced the interstate battery with a optima red top and the problem appeared to go away. yet yesterday it appear to start again. i noticed yesterday that if i turn the engine off and then back on a couple of times the fans will stop. i have even turned the car off and noticed that the fans were not running just to have the fans start up later while the van has been off for awhile. any ideas thanks in advance... -- john behneman john.behneman at gmail dot com yup.. the radiator fan relay which is a transistor type relay is more then likely the culprit. it is located on the left side frame rail under the battery tray if this is a 3.3 -3.8 liter remove the air cleaner assembly and air filter box and you will see it glenn beasley chrysler tech .

what do you guys think i think id first question why on an 05 the harness doesnt just run from the lights to the front control module afaik there is no wiring that goes directly from the instrument panel through the firewall and out to a component. at the very least the wiring would stop at the bulkhead connector on the firewall. it was a theoretical sp question pertaining to a difference of opinion over at the local choke and puke. either spend a bunch of time taking alot of things apart to replace a wiring harness that could be repaired easily. myself id solder a socket in place and be done with it. ive soldered wiring on combines 30 years ago that are still working. barring that and assuming that what you were told is actually what has to happen yeah id opt for the splice myself. denny .
