i have a 99 ram qc with the infinity am/fm/cd/cassette player like this one for sale on ebay. http//i21.ebayimg.com/02/i/02/d6/1e/0c1.jpg the right front door speaker quit working. i was able to make it work by moving the fader stick around but now it doesnt work no matter what i do with the controls. i suspect its a bad head unit. i would like to keep the steering wheel controls. i play cassettes as well as cds and am thinking about getting an in-dash am/fm/cassette player and adding a cd changer to the system if i cant find a combo unit. i considered a factory replacement but for what i suspect that would cost i could get a better sounding system for a little more. used factory units are selling on ebay for over $100. any suggestions for a replacement .

actually nosey i have posted to this group on more then one occasion regarding things such as locations for differential stickers on dodge trucks i have also asked for and given towing advice and also had a long discussion regarding amsoil. i was actually not going to post to this group for the exact reasons you listed however was told it would be ok if i marked it as an advertisement. as far as name and signature im pretty sure its in there. sorry to have offended you. dan howling motorsports joe brophy wrote why not just go to the amsoil corporate website it is a little bit better featured for searching and has all the products. joe he is promoting his own business here. it would probably be better received if he contributed to discussions and put his business name and web link in his signature but he obviously prefers to be considered a spammer. i personally like the product but i refuse to order anything from him because of this business tactic. it ranks right up there with telemarketers to me. .

okay folks maybe this was my mistake in the first place but here goes nothing. back about 1 month ago i purchased a 2002 dodge ram wagon 15 passenger van. the work i am in has a need for such a vehicle. anyway ive logged just over 1000+ miles on it and for the first time took it on a group trip last weekend. well the windows seem to fog up when there are 2 people in the van not to mention 10! so to my dismay found out that the defrost is not working - neither is the a/c at this point - which it was but on some warmer days have cut the a/c on and not cold air coming out so today took it in to the 5 star dealer where i purchased the van from and also mentioned some noise from the rear end when moving in reverse as well as at highway speeds - kind of a whine sound. anyway jsut wanted them to check it out well after being at the dealer 5 hours they came to me and said that the bearings in the front and the back are pretty much shot - it was up on the lift and they were sending an adjuster over to check it out. great i thought but hopefully warranty will pick it up - yeah van has 41000 miles on it *bought it with 39700 and purchased the gold plus extended warranty for 4 years/48000 miles. so shouldnt bearings be covered and with them saying it would be like 900$ worth of work and ive had the van a little over a month have i just seen the beginning of problems with it right now im paying on it for 6 years and this kinda after one month sucks. any help suggestions advice or anything that might help the situation - or hey maybe some of yall are laughing reading this knowing what i might have gotten myself into - oh well - sorry for this being so long! peace brad .
