1998 Dakota Sport tire question

Q: i just bought one of these. v6 automaticetc. it still has the original tires and i would like to replace them with larger ones. to me the small tires just dont look right. any suggestions thanks foghat .

i went with a p235-70-15 that slightly increased diameter and width. they look good without being too wide. i bought firestones indy 500 tires and am happy with the ride handling and traction...not to mention having a pretty good price. jeff c. .

thanks. ive read some posts that say if you increase the tire size from the oem size it throws off the computer. did anything like that happen to you thanks jim the stock size on mine were p215-75-15s so the change in diameter wasnt enough to cause any problems at all. the trucks computer can be changed via a drb to match up with any factory size tire if needed. i didnt have to do that with the size i went with. jeff c. .
