Q: my dakota is running at about half temp which is hotter than when newer. i used to joke it never got off the bottom peg much. radiator is new one year water pump/thermostat is a cheapy i replaced about a three years ago...water is clean and has coolant no belt slipping....not running a/c....i noticed it more after the radiator replacement. going up hill it gets really hot almost pegs to right.... suggestions terry .

i used to joke it never got off the bottom peg much. going up hill it gets really hot almost pegs to right.... suggestions yep put a real water temperature gauge on it so you know the actual temperature rather than this silly peg shit then if something actually is wrong fix it and 220 degrees with a 205 thermostat and a 16/18 pound cap and coolant is not too hot politics the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich. .
