1997 dakota clutch life?

From : dakota2112

Q: im curious... how many miles have people been getting out of their clutches specifically in dakota trucks i have a 97 dakota cc v6 5 speed 2 wheel drive 3.21 gears bought new off the lot. my original clutch has made it to 150000 miles. mostly highway i dont tow often and i usually drive with utmost respect for my clutch disk by minimizing slippage during clutch operation. i have never noticed any change in the clutch pedal and i have never smelled any burning clutch... but i know its only a matter of time before i do. any ideas how many miles these clutches can realistically last if treated reasonably that is all based on driving habbits and driving conditions .

need extra income try this. first of all this is not spam! this really can make you easy money!! it works!!! but you have to follow it for it to work!!!! a little while back i was browsing through groups just like you are now and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands of dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00! so i thought yeah right this must be a scam but like most of us i was curious so i kept reading. anyway it said that you send $1.00 to each of the 6 names and address stated in the article. you then place your own name and address in the bottom of the list at #6 and post the article in at least 200 groups. there are thousands no catch that was it. so after thinking it over and talking to a few people first i thought about trying it. i figured what have i got to lose except 6 stamps and $6.00 right like most of us i was a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it all. so i checked it out with the u.s. post office 1-800-725-2161 and they confirmed that it is indeed legal! then i invested the measly $6.00. well guess what!!... within 7 days i started getting money in the mail! i was shocked! i figured it would end soon but the money just kept coming in. in my first week i made about $25.00. by the end of the second week i had made a total of over $1000.00! in the third week i had over $10000.00 and its still growing. this is now my fourth week and i have made a total of just over $42000.00 and its still coming in rapidly. its certainly worth $6.00 and 6 stamps i have spent more than that on the lottery!! let me tell you how this works and most importantly why it works.... also make sure you print a copy of this article now so you can get the information off of it as you need it. step 1 get 6 separate pieces of paper and write the following on each piece of paper please put me on your mailing list. now get 6 us $1.00 bills and place one inside each of the 6 pieces of paper so the bill will not be seen through the envelope to prevent thievery. next place one paper in each of the 6 envelopes and seal them. you should now have 6 sealed envelopes each with a piece of paper stating the above phrase your name and address and a $1.00 bill. what you are doing is creating a service by this. this is absolutely legal! mail the 6 envelopes to the following addresses #1 david fuller 3609 w.18th #415 emporiaks 66801 #2 don graham 8110 mansion ct s #1 fort belvoir va 22060 #3 j.p. p.o. box 9613 chesapeake va 23321 #4 linda douglass b co 127th asb cmr 477 box 2115 apo ae 09165 #5 g. rob 1507 e. 53rd st. #146 chicago il. 60615 #6 l.douglas 252 angus st. regina sk canada s4r 3k4 step 2 now take the #1 name off the list that you see above move the other names up 6 becomes 5 5 becomes 4 etc... and add your name as number 6 on the list. step 3 change anything you need to but try to keep this article as close to original as possible. now post your amended article to at least 200 groups. all you need is 200 but remember the more you post the more money you make! ------follow these instructions to post to groups---------- -- step 1 you do not need to re-type this entire letter to do your own posting. simply copy and paste the entire letter and save it somewhere on your computer under something you will remember. for example makemoney.doc if using microsoft word. step 2 use netscape or internet explorer and try searching for various groups on-line forums message boards chat sites discussions. step 3 visit these message boards and post this article as a new message by highlighting the text of this letter and selecting paste from the edit menu. fill in the subject this will be the header that everyone sees as they scroll through the list of postings in a particular group click the post message button. youre done with your first one! congratulations...thats it! all you have to do is jump to different groupes and post away after you get the hang of it it will take about 30 seconds for each group! **remember the more groups you post in the more money you will make!! but you have to post a minimum of 200** thats it! you will begin reciving money from around the world within days! you may eventually wany to rent a p.o.box due to the large amount of mail you will receive. if you wish to stay anonymous you can invent a name to use as long as the postman will deliver it. **just make sure all the addresses are correct.** now the why part out of 200 postings say i receive only 5 replies a very low example. so then i made $5.00 with my name at #6 on the letter. now each of the 5 persons who just sent me $1.00 make the minimum 200 postings each with my name at #5 and only 5 persons respond to each of the original 5 that is another $25.00 for me now those 25 each make 200 minimum posts with

hello i have an 01 dodge caravan 3.3l and lately once and awhile driving the wipers come on all by themselves and now i seen them come on from the house while it was sitting in the driveway parked with no key! it is very cold out here and wondering if that might have something to do with it does anyone know what this could be its very weird. im afraid i will have a drained battery and worn down wipers in the morning. thanks mike the biggest problem was the mulifunction switch on this vehicle. you may want to take the car in and have the dealer check for any fault codes especially in the bcm .

im leaving ca for alaska for a few weeks of travel with my 04 arctic fox 5th wheel behind my 03 2500 laramie ho 4wd. i already have 60k on the original tires and want to change them out before i leave. i was in talking to big-o today as that is where i have bought for the past 15-20 years or so and he is recommending the big foot a/t. he says it handles wet roads much better than the mich. i have on there yeah not much traction on the originals. also rated for 70k miles. he did say there might be a bit more road noise but not much. these are lt265/70r17. more tire info at http//www.bigotires.com/index.asppg=2&sub=12b&catid=01big31 or http//tinyurl.com/5rmh4 for short. for 4 tires he will toss in the alignment. this is a tire i expect to last 24 - 30 months so i want to have something that wont be bothersome. is this a good tire are there better ones out there in the $7-800 price range the only complaint i really have about the michilins sp is the lack of traction on wet pavement. -- fmb only one b in fmb i put bfg all terrain tires on my last 2500 hemified. good traction in rain snow and mud. lower road noise than most. mine cost a little more than you noted above but i did put on 285r x 17. the tire is so much wider than the michelins that my mpg dropped about 1.5 mpg but i doubt thatll make too much difference with a diesel. i got em discount tires best price in dallas with a lifetime rotation and balance for about 1050.00. heres the tire http//www.bfgoodrichtires.com/bfgapp/catalog/tires/allterraintako.jsp -- moparman---remove clothes to reply! --scud coordinates 32.61204 north 96.92993 west-- .

low freon will cause the clutch to not engage. yep. pull the connector from the presure switch on the accumulator skinny black cylinder-looking thing about the size of a thermos on the passenger-side near the firewall and short the pins in the connector not on the switch - that wont help. do this with the truck running and the hvac controls set to ac. if the clutch engages you have a low freon charge or a bad lp switch - but 99% of the time its a low charge. .
