Q: i have a 2002 ram 1500 with the 4.7. the air filter is just a plain vanilla filter no different from any other. its not any kind of unusual size or shape or material. yet its almost impossible to find one priced less than $35 - $50!!!! what is the deal here heck you cant even find one in any auto parts store or any place like walmart - you have to go to a dealer parts counter where its typically $49.95. i must be missing something here can anybody explain thanks ron m. .
