on sun 29 feb 2004 184802 gmt fmb fmbb@sbcglobal.net wrote my arctic fox is the 24-5n 5th wheel. it has one slide for the couch area and it has a rear kitchen. we love it. we didnt have to flip the axles to fit our 4wd 2500 and still has plenty of clearance over the bed rails. it rides level too. you will see soon as we figure when to go to burney at the same time. thats a nice floorplan we saw a 24-5something dont know if it was an n at a recent show... we love our tt but a friend just moved up to a prowler regal ax6 365 flts with 4 slides and were in lust......lol its nicer than our house! dont know if well make burney falls with these gas prices! going to rocklin in a week for my moms funeral and were gonna take the dakota and save a few gallons... we were going to take the tt up and spend the night in it but at 8 mpg its too expensive to tow it far... especially when we can get 19+ mpg in the dak... mac mac sorry to hear about your mom. i hope everything goes well for you and yours. well get together one of these days yet and lift a few. -- fmb only one b in fmb .

on sun 29 feb 2004 202309 -0700 miles unknown@unlistedspam.com wrote we tow a 26 5000# tt with a 99 ram qq 5.9l/auto/3.55 we went with a middle of the price line husky weight distributing hitch and decided to wait until deciding about the optional anti-sway control... cant hurt to have it but more money and more to hitch/unhitch we have almost no sway and the trailer tows like a dream.. i think the key is the setup of the wd hitch.. it isnt right you have problems if its right everything is in balance and you just drive the truck and the trailer follows... it would be nice to have a cummins but the 5.9 gets the job done... just dont expect a lot of performance or to fly up grades... i figure that with a trailer that weighs about the same as my ram im lucky to get 50% of normal performance so we just take it easy and enjoy the getting there... ive got a 2001 qc 1500 5.9l and looking at buying a 22 4500lb loaded trailer to tow. the dealership said i probably wont need a sway control add-on with this setup since its a light trailer with tandem axle. what are peoples experiences with lighter trailers is anti sway needed i will have a wd hitch. i have been told that anti sway devices limit turning abilities. i currently tow a 2500lb loaded popup trailer with no wd and no sway control but at 2500lb i cant even tell its there. does a ram 1500 with 5.9l handle towing 4500-5000lbs well what about climbing steep grades is the factory dodge tranny cooler sufficient or should i add an aftermarket what about a tranny temp gage add one to a custom a-piller thanks mac .

my 3.9 dakota will not idle when it is warmed upi can start it in neutralkeep my foot on the gas then shift it into drivebut it will still stall if i dont keep the revs up to about 1000 it starts fine and idles when cold.is this a computer/sensor problem any ideas would be appreciated. sounds like a tps sensor throttle position sensor but your codes will show this. .

if you think that ford or chevy are any better then you are going to be in for a big letdown. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving ive heard that if you have a dodge youre lucky to go past 80000 miles and still have a working transmission. in many cases they go bad early as it sounds like in your case. i had an old 1994 dodge ram & it had transmission problems - and im concerned my 2001 will have the same issues eventually. = ive met some real scum bags at car dealers - who assume that the customer is an idiot and their isnt a problem when there is a problem. i tell you this much...i will never buy a dodge again just because of the junk that ive had to go through with my dealer + the fact that i think theyre rather unreliable vehicles. i will keep mine until its paid off...then its gooooooooooooooooone. hopefully it wont fall apart before then! lol. i have a brand new dodge durango. almost right away i noticed that when i started it up after it was sitting for a while overnight or at the office that it would not go into 2nd gear right away. after going about 1/10 - 2/10 of a mile it would then shift into the correct gear. i called the dealer and told him about the problem and he said that this was normal. i have a hard time believing this is considered normal operation. has anybody else had this problem has anybody else brought it up to a dealer i would like to know .

hey jackass you have no room to talk. if that is the way you feel you need to join him him being jeff in another country. i have the right to say this because i have done my time in a combat zone during desert storm and currently still serve. i serve to protect the right including freedom of speech and expression of everyone. isnt it great that they both have the right to say whatever the hell they want as does everybody in this country. roy .
