From : ed medlin ed edmedlin com

Q: on aug 14 1126 am martin funkychateaus...@yahoo.com wrote ok im going to replace the filter and fluid this weekend and adjust the bands. is there anthing else i can service/clean without dropping the transmission anybody have a clue about the valve body thing is it ok to remove it and take it apart for cleaning anything in particular i need to watch out for like springs that are going to fly across the garage martin i watched the mechanic do my 95 4x4 and didnt see anything unusual but he is the expert and not me. mine was done at 170000 miles the first time after a lot of heavy towing and hard driving. he did the shift kit and it sure makes it shift stronger and seems not to shift up and down quite so often on medium grades. the shift kit actually comprised of enlarging one of the ports in the valve body for more quantity of flow and a remap of the computer mopar high performance. he didnt charge for it and said they do it on all the dodges of that era. i caught mine before it self-destructed and it cost about 1400 bucks. ed .

while you may not be able to rent a van you can rent a small truck one way as i did it several times when moving down here from nj. i dont know how much furniture you have to move but it took me about 3 of these trucks over the course of a year to fully move and one of them was a 24 footer also pulling the nissan on a trailer. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving well i know some will think that they won their little piss-ant game they are playing but it couldnt be further from the truth. i will be moving in two weeks and with out services for a bit. i addition to that i will have to change providers as cox does not service the area i am moving too so comcast here i come. anyway catch you on the flip and i will be here a little bit longer. moving oh joy! not!!! where ya going you going back to ny and play in the snow g we did a move to another house down the street a couple of years ago and it sucked. i still cant find some of my stuff. now that the next move is down here im all for selling the house furnished. found out that it is impossible to rent a van like a econoline or the like. well you can rent them but not one way. i suppose i can grab one of my friends car trailer and load that and haul it down here but then im dead heading it back. guess ill figure it out eventually. .
