1996 Dodge - What Other Areas Can I Address Without Removing

Q: on aug 14 1126=a0am martin funkychateaus...@yahoo.com wrote ok im going to replace the filter and fluid this weekend and adjust the bands. =a0is there anthing else i can service/clean without dropping the transmission anybody have a clue about the valve body thing is it ok to remove it and take it apart for cleaning anything in particular i need to watch out for like springs that are going to fly across the garage martin for example is there a way to drain the dirty fluid out of the torque converter maybe a drain plug behind the inspection cover can i remove the valve body the stuff that gets modified/replaced when installing a shift kit and perhaps do some good by disassembling and cleaning it what else =a0i want to give myself the best possible chance of having a truck that moves forward when i put it back together and refill. thanks martin .
