1995 dodge 4x4 clutch... HELP

Q: ok heres the scoop i have a 1995 dodge 4x4 with a 5 speed 318. went to back truck out and 1/2 way out of driveway huge clunk and i had a spongy clutch that would not work......ok so i turned it off put truck into 1st gear and started it with the clutch in and it seemed to take off like there wasnt a clutch i turned it off again and re-started it again and it seemed to work.... as i was letting clutch out so i can get it into the garage it was at the end of letting it out but still slipping.... now has anyone ran into this problem before is it 1. the clutch 2. tranny 3. slave cylinder all the above any help would greatly be appreciated..... thanx .

sounds like your clutch disc tore up .

at least you dont have to jack it up to change it.ive changed mine a couple of times .
