Q: roy perhaps your frustrations toward me are the result of you behaving as the customers i have descrbed. your warranty policy book is still crisp clean and unread; yet you stand at the dealership informing them of what should have been covered. reality hurts when it hits close to home. doesnt it brent i have no frustrations at all you show up this time acting like a ass. dont like being called on it tfb. for some reality why dont you read the other bs thread you started what do you want. read my response to mike simmons on 4/9 then if you want read my response to you in that thread. then you might have a bit more of a clue. heres some more reality for ya said you were a troll then as well. gotta have consistency here. roy .

thanks for the input. mine is also a slt but just reg cab. a friend gets 21 mpg in the city and he has a big motor vette. go figer. price is 2.07 a gallon here in massachusetts usa. i will be using my harley more this summer. steve suddenly without warning steve exclaimed 4/14/2005 1254 pm i was wondering what some of you are getting for mileage on the 4.7 v8 dodge dakota 4x4 standard cab. with the gas prices now a days you try to get the best you can out of it. i am getting about 12 city and 15 highway. not what the tag says but i guess thats understandable. they do the test under the best conditions. was thinking of a i&n filter set up for better breathing and maybe a duel exhaust. any one with any thoughts i used to get around 14 highway and 18/19 city. right now though on these roads im in england i think im probably getting about the same as you. and gas here now costs are you sitting down close to $6.50 per gallon! aarugh! only using the dak for shorter journeys now; back to the ol 1991 toyota which gets close to 30mpg for long trips. mines a 2001 slt club cab but same engine and 4x4. i was starting to wonder if there was something wrong but maybe its just the nature of the beast. jmc .

theres a diesel jeep liberty nowadays. ed anything that takes sales away from the dodge ram will not happen. not even if its a great idea. i would love a diesel dak but i know it will not happen any time soon since people these days are not looking for a mid sized diesel with good fuel economy. they just want the biggest fuel guzzler they can find. http//wwwsg.daimlerchrysler.com/sd7dev/gms/templates/gmspresskit/029700-1-62101-1-1-text-0-6209700.html note the horsepower and torque figures. i think itd look good under the hood of a dakota. at least. ap .
