plastic loom from wm will protect that wire. on 10 dec 2006 134239 -0800 kevin.minton@gmail.com wrote looks like it was the wire at the co solenoid it was pressed down on the nut encasing the fuel filter. i pulled it up and noticed 2 deep indentations and used some electrical tape to hold it up off the nut and took it for a drive. bingo no issues. i will keep an eye on it. thanks for the responses. kevin on dec 10 1220 am joseph myers joemy...@.tera.com wrote on 9 dec 2006 125939 -0800 kevin.min...@gmail.com wrote today i went out for a quick bite and on way home my 98 ram diesel started to hesistate and then the engine light came on. when i hit the accelerator it acted like it wasnt get enough fuel so i just had to let it coast and luckily made it home. i recently replaced the fuel filter and had noticed at times that when i would be driving i could intermittently tell it was hesitating for split second when i was at full speed and then it was fine. today was the first time the engine light came on. any suggestions on what might cause this my guess is possibly the fuel pump but not sure.find wire at fuel co solenoid just aft of the inj pump. follow the wire back towards the firewall looking for worn through insulation. if this wire shorts out on any grounded metal solenoid will close shutting off fuel. can be intermittent due to vibration. also might be the engine speed sensor going bad causing the engine to go into limp home mode. jmtcw 89 & 00 ctds .

well tell us what you found please. so we will know what to look for when its our turn. -- christopher a. young you cant shout down a troll. you have to starve them. .. disregard i figured it out..... chris im leaking fuel from above the heater element that sets above the fuel filter has anyone removed this heater before. the only thing i see that holds it on is the shaft that the filter attaches to and it is slotted i just dont want to torque on something if there is more to the removal. thanks chris 95 w250 4x4 extended cab 06 3500 4x4 4 door long bed.... .

try here. its for a 2001 durango but its probably similar to the 2002... you use the same blower motor for the heat that you do the a/c and it makes no difference if its in-town or highway. ive had to install two in my wifes 99 dodge ram van so far.... http//www.gtrippleb.com/auto/durango/tech/durangoblowerresistor.htm dave young spoilaz1 via carkb.com wrote can you be more specific. what resistor wher is it located etc... thanks chris thompson wrote sounds to me like you need a new resistor. the fan on my 02 durango doesnt work on the first three settings. you have to turn the fan on max to get heat then it blows like crazy. the max setting for the fan is the only one that works. heat works fine ists just the fan that is acting up. it seems weird because i only have 32k on the vehicle and 90% of those miles are highway miles from long trips down south where i was using the ac. .
