1982 dodge D150 Fuel tank help needed.

Q: yesterday i droped the gas tank and broke some kind of plastic valvei have no idea of what its called its white and its in a rubber gorment that holds it in the tank its about a foot from where the fuel gauge unit is and has one rubber hose going to iti have a book on the truck and it has no comments on what its called it would be a big help to know incase i have to order. .
