From : jamie friery

Q: no need to maxie pad. you just took my point of view and argued it. thanks and i accept your aplogies. i know you fail to provide proof because i deliberately leave openings for you to jump on ah yes grasshopper. which you fail miserably to even see let alone disprove. geez you are totally fucked up maxie pad. some others know this and enjoy the game. yep. you are catching on. then when i let you and tbone alone you whine about being left alone really when where a mature adult would go about his business how the fuck would you know and place the ng chatter where it belongs... after real life. so we all get a laugh at your expense especially when you post what four posts after the discussion has been effectively over for almost a week. again fool i was away keeping the world safe for the last week. i cant respond when im not here. geez you get pretty impatient. relax dude. max i have add and my friends dont understand look!! a chicken!!! .

i recently purchased a 1975/76 29 vogue mh. everything works except the transmission. the previous owner claims it worked when he last drove it about 5 years ago. i am pretty certain that this has the 440 engine with the 727 trans. does anyone have any suggestions on where i should start in problem solving this tranny. i checked the linkage and the shifter and it seems to be fine. it has tranny fluid in it and it is pink in color. i am hoping that it is something simple to fix and that i dont have to have it towed or pull the tranny myself to take it fixed. any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance jamie. . 222 269236 8ykhb.5256$bv6.1633987@1.epix.net just placed my order today for an 04 3500 ctd! i have a deal worked both with a trade and without so i can try to sell my truck on my own. i am located near harrisburg pa. heres the details 97 ram 2500 club cab slt lwb 4x4. 5.9l v8/auto. 86500 miles. emerald green/light driftwood w/ gray interior. seats and carpet are perfect. body color application-specific fiberglass steps. new cooper a/t tires. new rotors and calipers last year; brakes are better than new. towing package and camper package. everything works. excellent condition overall and runs great. one owner. all maintenance records available. $13000. i will post current pictures soon when the weather cooperates! .

when i picked up my dads 75 dodge pickup in ariz it wouldnt move on flat land. but i kept rocking it pack and forth till i was able to make it around town on flat land for awhile. fairly quickly i was able to stop fully and get going again. and shortly after that i headed for seattle. by the time i had gone 3-4 hundred miles it was working well and continued ever since. that was 5 years ago. it did take a bunch of fluid for the first 500 miles. .

pardon me for sticking my nose in here. but a few more details than it doesnt work would be helpful. there are some people in this group that know lots about tranies not me. but details are required. does it not engage when placed in a gear. does it not shift between gears does it shift erratically ive learned over the years not to mess with an auto tranie. for me id check the following i would at least drop the pan. check for crud on the bottom of the pan and replace the filter. smell the tranie fluid if it smells burnt there is a problem. if the filter is clogged and there is lots of crud on the pan you may need a tranie rebuild. when you checked your linkage what did you check for. you can adjust the linkage which will change the shift points. ray i recently purchased a 1975/76 29 vogue mh. everything works except the transmission. the previous owner claims it worked when he last drove it about 5 years ago. i am pretty certain that this has the 440 engine with the 727 trans. does anyone have any suggestions on where i should start in problem solving this tranny. i checked the linkage and the shifter and it seems to be fine. it has tranny fluid in it and it is pink in color. i am hoping that it is something simple to fix and that i dont have to have it towed or pull the tranny myself to take it fixed. any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance jamie. .

.. .. .. .. re 1975/76 dodge motorhome tranny question from friery@hotmail.com jamie=a0friery no i disconnected the distributor wire just in case it turned over and fired up while i had the pan off and turned the ignition on just to see if when the shifter on the dash was moved i could see the linkage inside the tranny was moving.......... but now it wont move into any gears out of park......ie........neutral drive 1st 2nd etc........... =3d=3d=3d=3d =3d=3d=3d=3d jamie let the truck back down off the jack stands... you did use jack stands...didnt you rock the truck forward and back a couple times......drop the shifter into neutral.... jack it back up in the front like you had it before....... then see what happens oh yeah.....be sure to put the jack stands back under it....because this time it will be much more likely to roll off of them .... hopefully helpfull scribs abell r-u .. .. .. .. .. .
