just got the msg today that dc will honor the warranty claim $100 deductable parts wont be here till thursday at the earliest and it will be the mod to put the pump in the tank. glad to hear it. looks like your dealer is capable of applying common sense. $100 is more than worth it to get it back running - and like i said makes the switch to an aftermarket pump while retaining the factory filter/heater all that much easier .

i forgot to mention that it is for 1998 dodge grand caravan es. thank you in advance. my aluminum pipes with antifreeze from engine to the rear heater rusted and must be replaced. i cant figure it out where are the pipes goes to the engine just in front of firewall. id love to find some pictures or how to get to these and remove pipes before i start disassembling everything. any help would be appreciated. .

id bet money on the egr valve being clogged open....had it happen and the symptoms were identical to yours!! id bet money against it as the 99s didnt have egr. vacuum leaks .

just got my oil changed for the last time here in oz - last time it was mixed in with other services so i dont remember. its cost me the equivalent of over $70! for regular oil! please tell me its not going to be that expensive for a simple oil change in the us! dakota takes 5 quarts. jmc .

use the right toe and sharply depress the right pedal. one black mark on the pavement means open diff two means its a limited slip. what if you get four marks i turned a knob on the dash once and got 6 marks. very strange.... .

adjust the throttle linkage and see if that helps. there is no retractor spring. -- max everyone is entitled to his own opinion he is not entitled to his own facts. sen. daniel patrick moynihan of new york i have a 88 dodge dakota with the automatic tranny without od. first gear lags sometimes and takes a little too long to accelerate and shift into second gear but once it shifts all the other gears are fine. ive changed the filter and gasket in hopes that this would fix the problem but no luck. ive been told it could be the retractor spring. what exactly does the retractor spring do any ideas or tips are greatly appreciated. thanks- stumped http//community.webtv.net/anw97/welcometopeoplewho .
