Q: 97 ram 318 4x4 auto had a pressure test performed by an oil change shop......said they smelled coolant even no leak was present. next day coolant leaking from under dash. oil change company agrees to pay half of replacement costs for new heater core to be installed. core replaced now no heat or lets just say lukewarm oh yea had thermostat replaced. water lines to heater are hot top radiator hose is hot temp gauge reads normal radiator cold water pump is less tan 6 months old. shop now says could be a flow problem in the radiator. any ideas why would changing out the heater core cause flow problems by the way this is the 4th radiator in the truck all replaced previously by our friends at chrysler. thanks -- joe .
