04 ram 4.7 and Hemi-gas difference?

i posted a while ago about gas milage. i get about 13 city and 17 highway trying real hard in city. someone with the 4.7 said they got about 14/19. does anyone have any firsthand experience with the difference in gas mileage with these 2 engines thanks .

my wife has a 2003 1500 2wd qc short bed with a 4.7 auto she gets around 16 around town and 20 on the highway i had a 2004 2500 4wd qc long bed with a hemi and auto trans the best i could get was 11.2 around town and 14 on the highway. that truck fell in love with every gas station it passed both trucks had 3.73 gears. i now have a 2004 3500 4wd qc dulley with a 305/555 cummins and a 6spd trans with 3.73 gears i get 17.5 around town and 22 on the highway if i keep it under 70mph gotta love a diesel does anyone have any firsthand experience with the difference in gas mileage with these 2 engines thanks .
