Q: ok well it was listed in my owners manual. i picked up a service manual off of the internet on cd-rom format i didnt know it was 2800+ pages. my old blazer had an inline fuel filter. you just took it out and put a new one in. thanks for the clarification. i dont think you will be doing that this weekend....the fuel filter is part of the pump....in the tank!!! it is sold seperatly but not a recommended maintenance part i am going to change my fuel filter this weekend and wondering if there are any extra needed tools to change it it is a 2003 dodge ram 1500. can i just take the old filter out and install the new one seems like i would have to rebuild the pressure .
