ahh... i still have my nikasil engine on my 540ia... it seemed to be those who babied their cars see their nikasil engine dies early. mine had the block swap at i think 89k has 144110 miles on it tonight.. starts right up runs purrrrrrfectly and i gave a ferrari 612 scaglietti a run for his money yesterday. .

why do you think they are detuning the engine for the standards the clutch or another reason -- ---------------------------- -chris 05 ctd 06 liberty crd real trucks dont need spark plugs. but on this dodge link dodge is claiming 305hp and 610 torque on a 6.7 cab and chassis truck. the c&c truck is definitely a de-tuned engine because of the transmission options. starting in january the regular 2500/3500 pickups will be available with the 350/650 engine when equipped with the new 68rfe auto. 6spd manuals will still be 325/610 i believe. oh and btw - the dmax is also de-tuned in manual trans configurations too .
