03 cummins?

Q: i have a 1992 cummins 4x4 extra cab with very low mileage 110000 kmi love this truck but i can get a 2003 cummins 4x4 quad at a good price.with the 92 my wife complains about the ride but she says why trade with such low mileageshould i because its time or man this is a tough call.any input welcome.ps money is not an issue. .

i have a 90 with 237000....no problems even yet! the 03 will be more powerful maybe nicer ride but you wont fall in love with it like the old ones. youll need the pump serviced somewhere along the line...something about a tapered shaft setup as compared to the old ones having a key-way & slot setup old pumps are better. i must face this dilemma myself in the next couple years....but i know ill never get another one with the reliability that the 90 had. .
