02 1500 ram front plastic bumper peeling

Q: my bumper has a spot where the bumper is peeling. i dont know anything about bodywork or paint. but whatever is peeling is clear plastic and a towel catches on it when drying after a wash. you can see the lint if you dont use a lint free cloth. the truck is blue. is this something covered under warranty or will they say that rocks could have started the problem -- homelite chainsaws are junk dont waste your money! .

it sounds like the clear coat. my old 89 dakota had that problem. it was a bad batch of oem clear coat. i would think it would be covered under warranty in your case. the sooner you take care of it the better. i put it off and my whole truck was pealing when i sold it.. good luck! bob 00 corvette convertible 01 dodge ram 1500 4x4 sport .

where do you come up with homelites are junk. ive had one for over twenty years with only minor repairs and adjustments. a lot longer than other brands my friends have i was a homelite dealer 15 years go. twenty years ago homelite made good saws today i would not touch a new one! homelite as a company has been bought and sold 2-3 times since then. every change robed the good from it and left the junk. i believe they dont even manufacture their own saws any more! greg .
