Q: installed a bulldog on my dodge b250 van when it was 1 year old.....took about 4 hours because i quadruple checked all wiring. works great 5 years running - havent even changed the remote starter battery!!!! what do you mean splicing wires bulldog makes an adapter t-harness for the new keyless entry/remote starters that eliminates/minimizes wire splicing for almost all makes and models. simply plugs inline with a couple of existing factory wiring harnesses. david the hard part is lying on your back under the drivers side dash finding and splicing into all the various wires. took me about 5 hours...put one in my dakota and one in my wifes blazer. she says its the best xmas present she ever got. loves it!! btw its a bulldog and its done just fine for more than two years. like ac...once you have it youll wonder how you did without it. is it difficult to install a remote car starter such as bulldog in a 1999 dodge ram 1500 pickup thanks i .
